Alpha 21 came out and changed the long term playability for the better.
One thing I am really excited about is the addition of level 5 missions (as well as level 6+ with infestations and biome difficultly levels)
Ramping up to these difficulties is more challenging = more fun. I had to grind to get the needed mining tools to generate supplies for gas and bullets.
